Smart photo organizing is here.  A number of web sites, such as Facebook, have started using facial detection systems for photo sharing.  A new web site, currently in private beta, is to be released to the general public any moment.  http://www.ilovephotos.com/  should be a cutting-edge, easy-to- use photography sharing web site with some of the latest facial detection and organizing technology.  The site supports visual tagging, smart slide shows and automatic sharing.

As far as we can tell, the system will be available both on the web and a downloadable application for the desktop, including Mac.  (Please note, this has not been confirmed.)
