Don’t panic.

You have passion and desire to communicate with your social media community, but it seems like they dropped off the face of the earth.  Is social media dead?

No, it’s only summer.

Each summer social media, just like business networking, takes a vacation. We all need a vacation.  It is important to get away. Sunny skies, warm weather, family events and vacations are a good reason to put down the keyboard and live in the offline world.

Over the next couple months, you will hear occasionally from various members of your community, but the comments, retweets and general sharing will be down.  Have no fear. Come September, your community will magically reappear.
