A Well Rounded Creative Day

Early in my career, I recognized that a well rounded day leads to a better creative life. No, not every day is a good day and it’s rarely perfect. However, when I take charge and establish the things I need to do to create a balanced successful day, my creative life is at its best.

A well rounded day is like compound interest. Over time the value increases, your days get better and it’s easier to create more quality days.

There is no one universal formula for a well rounded day. It all depends on you. What are the things you need to do to feel fulfilled and productive? It’s not all about work.

You need to consider what is important to you such as family, friends, exercise, and your spiritual life.

Over time I change some of the things I require. My priorities change and I adjust the list of things I need to do each day to consider it a complete and successful day.

Even if I don’t accomplish everything on my list, I still feel good about my day and know I’m on the right track.

The big secret is that even if you have a bad day or miss days or weeks, you can start again the next day.

It’s On You
